This year, those attending HAE EHA’s annual conference in Holywell Park, Loughborough, were given a valuable opportunity to network, discuss and learn with other delegates in the hire industry. With the theme of ‘Forward Together’, the focus of the event was finding lasting solutions to help members build a strong foundation for advancing hire businesses in 2018, and move forward together, in the future.
The conference was a success, giving the chance for visitors to meet with exhibitors showcasing some of the industries best products and services. Visitors could also attend a number of unmissable speaker sessions, including Dr Jack Lewis discussing the neuroscience of decision-making and how technology is changing our brains, Kevin Fear and Martin Coyd on the subject of improving mental health and well being in the industry, Faye Bevington, giving insight into dyslexia in the workplace and many more.
The HAE EHA team were there to help visitors with any queries, discuss projects such as SafeHire and HITS (Hire Industry Trusted Supplier), and also give live Virtual Reality demonstrations, where visitors were able to experience driving a digger and using tools and equipment in the virtual world.
